Plants and gardens bring our senses alive with beautiful colors and aromas.
Did you know all plants safeguard the air we breathe by removing toxins and dangerous invisible particles in the environment? Indoors or outdoors plants play important roles in everyone's life and are excellent for our health!
Houseplants enhance the environment in more ways than adding beauty to our surroundings. Explore Why Medical Cannabis and Hemp Improve Aging and Health in People and Pets
Let's Explore Why Medical Cannabis and Hemp are the craze after all these years of being taboo.
What are the health benefits ?
How does this plant improve our health?
Is CBD okay for pets?
Why should we try CBD products ?
Here's what research has found out about CBD products from 420 Direct Visit them to learn more.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one of over 85 cannabinoids that have been identified in the cannabis plant. CBD is becoming increasingly popular amongst the masses for having a wide scope of benefits – due to clinical reports and test data showing little to no side effects and a lack of psychoactivity (typically associated with marijuana products and high THC).
CBD or cannabidiol is the main active compound in hemp, and unlike THC, it is not psychoactive, so it doesn't make people high. Inside the human body there's something called the endocannabinoid system, with receptors spread throughout the brain and body. When these receptors are activated, they enable two-way communication between body systems; something previously thought to be impossible.
Every major civilization in history has recognized hemp as #1 on its list of important plants. The ancient Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks and Romans all revered hemp. Now modern science is validating what the ancients all knew - and uncovering exciting new discoveries about hemp.
George Washington and Thomas Jefferson both grew Hemp
Ben Franklin made Hemp paper
The Declaration of Independence was drafted on Hemp
Hemp was used as rope for ships, and it was a required crop in the American colonies
Hemp has been grown for the last 12,000 years
Hemp was used as money in the 1800s
Not growing Hemp was grounds for jail time
Over 25,000 products can be made with Hemp

New Natural Healing Recipes and Alternative Ideas
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know I will be posting more natural healing recipes and alternative ideas for living in today's world.
Things change rapidly but some things stay the same :) like a nice cup of warm chocolate milk in front of wood burning fireplace on a chilly autumn day.
Now that I have books finished and all caught up on other projects there's time to update this blog with the many many offline articles I've wrote over a lifetime of pen and paper. I do have to type the old newspaper column into the PC so yes, updates will be ongoing and take time so check back often or sign up for emails when I post something new.
I just posted about the benefits of carrot tops and carrots for health. Have a look at the post list to find more.
I'll also be posting old fashion ways of doing things because knowing the old ways sure does come in handy when modern conveniences and devices break down. So many ways and morals are being forgotten and left behind in time.
This blog is my way of preserving history for those years yet to come.
Remember....
Have a great day!

Heal with a Carrot Top
Heal with a Carrot Top
Carrot drinks are a known dietary aid that can help improve our health in a number of ways but did you know that the carrot tops are beneficial too?
Carrots are high in carotene which converts to vitamin A in the human body which is helpful for maintaining good eyesight and as an antioxidant to fight off free radical damage for better health.
Carrots are yet another food that also has uses as a medicinal herb.
The carrot and its top have antiseptic, diuretic and stimulating properties that can help rid the body of toxins and help stimulate it to heal.
It is easy to use the antiseptic action of the Carrot to fight germs in the mouth and throat by using the tops for a tea that is used as a mouth wash and gargle. This can be done as a sun tea, place a handful or two of fresh carrot tops in a gallon jar, cover with water and let brew in direct sunlight for a hour or so.
Sweeten if needed and store in the refrigerator.
Carrot soup can be helpful for curing diarrhea and regulating the digestive system.
