Rose Tea

Rose Tea

This is a long time favorite tea recipe of northern Europe.

Very high in vitamin C. This is good for daily use when extra Vitamin C is required.

You can purchase the Rose hips tea  at most health food stores and herb shops.

You can gather Roses from old fashion garden varieties of roses known as Tea Roses.

Step 1:

Grind or crunch up a couple of teaspoons

of dried Rose hips.

Step 2:

Soak in a small amount of water for

12 hours before using.

Step 3:

Make a tea by simmering 1 teaspoon of

prepared Rose hips in 3 cups of water

for 30-40 minutes.

Step 4:

Add water if needed as the tea simmers.

Step 5:

Honey, lemon or mint can be added for extra taste.

Step 6:

Sit back and enjoy!
